Overview
School Readiness is a preschool program designed to meet the needs of 4-year-old children and their families. GSRP allows children to develop socially and academically before entering kindergarten.

Who Is Eligible?
Four year old children and their families.

Additional Program Information
GSRP helps 4-year-olds get a jump start on the classroom experience by:

Enhancing self-esteem

Building social skills

Developing academic skills

Giving parents the opportunity to participate in their children's early education

Transportation is provided to children, within cooperating school districts, to provide service to rural out-county areas.

Parents and community members are a vital part of the Great Start Readiness Program! Please call us with your ideas and contributions.

Children who have completed GSRP have had a successful first school experience, are excited about learning, are confident in their own abilities and are ready to succeed!!

NAEYC Accredidated Sites! Several sites are NAEYC Accredidated; Waldron, Reading, Pittsford, Hillsdale, Concord, McHugh, Lincoln, East Jackson, Torrant, and Ashton Ridge.
