Overview
Community Action Agency formed a Limited Partnership with the Sterling Group (multi-family housing developers) to develop, construct and operate an affordable apartment complex in Jackson County on Blake Road between Dettman Road and Elm Street in Blackman Township. Ground breaking for the complex, Ashton Ridge Apartments, began in the fall of 2000.

Who Is Eligible?
Rent amounts for Ashton Ridge are based on current HUD guidelines for households at 40%, 50% and 60% of area median income. To contact Ashton Ridge, call (517) 788-5576.

Additional Program Information
The site for the new complex is on Blake Road in Blackman Township. Ashton Ridge contains 144 units (8 units per building). The complex includes a Head Start classroom, clubhouse, office facility, laundry facilities and outdoor recreation facilities.
