Overview
Community Action's Emergency Services Program provides assistance for relocation, home ownership services, heat and utilities, and referrals for household contents or needs. Check with your local CAA to see what programs are available in your community.
Who Is Eligible?
In most cases, eligibility is determined by declaration of need, decision notice from the Department of Human Services (DHS), a shut-off notice and/or household income.

Assistance varies according to need. Community Action can help with:
-Homeless Prevention (Rent Assistance and Help with Foreclosure Notices)
-Assistance with water, electric and fuel delivery
