Overview
The Hillsdale Housing Resource Coordintation project assists Hillsdale County families, with a child under the age of 19 years, who are experiencing a housing relocation crisis.
Who Is Eligible?
Hillsdale County families with a child under the age of 19. Families must be referred to CAA by a community human services agency staff person or by school personnel to be eligible for the program.
Additional Program Information
Some of the services CAA will provide to the eligible families through this program are:
- Information on rental listings and opportunities
- Assist clients in viewing properties and in negotiating with landlords
- Help individuals in learning budgeting and making affordability decisions such as evaluating appropriate housing options, accessing affordable day care services and access to employment
- Provide information on possibilities for financial assistance from other community agencies as well as helping individuals apply for assistance.
