Become a Volunteer Tutor. Literacy Tutors are caring volunteers who are certified in the Michigan Method of Tutor Training, an adult curriculum. Training and materials are provided by the Literacy Program. Tutors provide one to two hours each week to work with an adult learner.
If you know of someone who could benefit from any of our programs, you can encourage them to contact us and get involved.
You can also promote literacy by making a tax-deductible donation and becoming a Literacy Program member. You can help people in Jackson, Lenawee or Hillsdale improve their literacy skills.
