Overview

Community Action's overall goal is to increase the standard of living for neighborhood residents through rehabilitation of existing housing, promotion of home ownership and working in cooperation with community organizations to increase economic development activities.

In the City of Jackson, Community Action Agency is involved in the Partnership Park Neighborhood. We are working closely with various partners to revitalize the area, increase housing development and rehabilitation, support community involvement and provide a variety of services and training to area residents at:

In Lenawee County, CAA has received a Neighborhood Stabilization Program grant through the Michigan State Housing Development Authority targeted to the City of Hudson.  This project will allow CAA to acquire, rehabilitate and sell three foreclosed homes with the goal of stabilizing neighborhood by rehabilitating vacant, blighted properties.
