Community Action Agency Updates


Jackson & Hillsdale

Community Action Agency is a Housing Assistance and Resource Agency (HARA) for Jackson and Hillsdale counties. Our HARA Housing Resource Specialists can help provide rapid re-housing and help to provide referrals to other appropriate service agencies.

Utility Assistance

Community Action Agency may be able to assist with past-due utility bills such as gas, electric, water, and deliverable fuels. Eligibility for assistance is based upon available funds. CAA staff will coordinate with other community providers to help those in need gain access to available assistance and offer resources and referrals as needed. Weatherization Assistance

The Weatherization Program provides free home energy conservation services to income-eligible home owners and renters in Jackson, Lenawee and Hillsdale counties. Call the CAA office in your county for more details:
