Community Action Agency is seeking proposals for services that will support the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program in the upcoming tax preparation season and beyond. The services requested include:
- VITA Trainer – Knowledge of up-to-date Michigan State and Federal Tax Laws and regulation. The ability to teach intricacies of tax law and foster a knowledgeable and proficient team that excels in tax preparation. Deadline for submission is December 6, 2024. Click HERE for complete RFP.
- Tax Coach – Individuals with vast knowledge of Michigan State and Federal Tax law with the ability to instruct in a professional and proficient manor. Individuals with knowledge of the VITA sites processes and procedures. Individuals with working knowledge of TaxSlayer Tax preparation software and Link and Learn examination site. Individuals with the ability to take and pass the Intake Interview and Quality Review examination in Link and Learn as required by the IRS and CAA, may respond to this RFP.
